How to find a deal
Start on the home page with three filters:
- When — a day of the week, and optionally a time window, so you can hunt 4pm knock-offs, late-night specials, or a Sunday session.
- Where — a suburb, a region, or near you. Near-you search uses your location in the browser to find venues close by. We don't store a history of your precise location.
- What— beer, cocktails, steak, $12 schooners, trivia, or whatever else you're after.
Results show as a list of venues and specials. Switch to the map to see them on the street. Open a venue to read the weekly board — days, times, prices, and conditions — then favourite it, report something that's wrong, or add a special that's missing.
For a wider view, region pages include drink prices and coverage stats: what's cheap, which days are busiest, and what's pouring.
Where the specials come from
Most listings are collected from venue websites. Anyone can also submit a missing special from a venue page — including from a photo of the board — and venue owners can claim their listing to keep it current.
Happy hours change. We try to stay accurate, but always confirm with the venue when you order. If a deal is out of date or wrong, report it on the venue page — no account needed.
The Team
Dusk Route is a one-man coding and drinking show. No office, no standups — just me writing the code, collecting the specials, and occasionally confirming a listing the old-fashioned way.
